Gina Edwards loves the great outdoors. Whether hiking, bicycling or skiing, her Anchorage, Alaska home gives her the opportunity to enjoy nature. Her fascination with the outdoors is reflected in her colorful oil paintings, often of animals in unique poses. Gina says of her art, "I feel art is candy for the eyes. It's fun, colorful; it creates emotion and daydreams. Necessary for life? No, but it sure makes life
better. Animals are my favorite subject. I am always excited to see a creature full of energy emerge from a blank canvas and form it's own personality. Every creature
has something worth noting, worth admiring, something to make us think or smile."
